Situated at the base of the Grand Teton Mountains in Northwestern Wyoming, Jackson Hole – named for the sensation early fur trappers described while descending into the valley (as if into a ‘hole’) – is an umbrella term for the mountain-hugged area that includes the main town Jackson and surrounding communities.

From an extravagant affair with more than 300 guests to an intimate ceremony for two, the resort welcomes every style of celebration.

To compliment your big day, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort offers many activities for your wedding party and guests to enjoy including hiking, mountain biking, a private ropes course, and many more.

What We Love

The year-round destination provides convenient access to the United States’ most awe-inspiring wonders, including Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and the National Elk Refuge.

For the quintessential Jackson Hole wedding, host your ceremony at 9,095 feet at the top of the Bridger Gondola.

What to Know

Early Spring and Late Fall in the Mountains can be snowy and muddy, so make sure that you consider wedding dates carefully.

As a ski resort, certain winter dates are more expensive than others, so make sure to consider the winter schedule of events when selecting your wedding date.

Not to be Missed

Downhill Skiing

Rendezvous Mountain – offering the most extreme ski terrain in North America – lures skiers and snowboarders from around the globe and is enjoyed via the Aerial Tram, which carries sightseers, hikers and mountain bikers to the summit during summer months.

National Elk Refuge

Jackson is also a haven for wildlife. Come in the fall to hear the shrill bugle calls of male elk searching for mates, or get up-close-and-personal with these magnificent animals at the National Elk Refuge.

Granite Hot Springs

A local favorite for relaxing and easing muscles sore from mountain adventures, Granite Hot Springs is a natural hot spring – complete with campground, swimming pool and soaking pool – nestled in the Gros Ventre Mountains.
